Tekkusai Beast – Kay
Introduction
The Beast is a mousepad designed for people who enjoy fast, low-friction surfaces with minimal stopping power. It allows users to have more control over their raw aim without interruptions from the pad itself. There is no pad I have experienced that is faster than the Beast. It outclasses all the pads I have owned, from the Empress to the Skypad, the Kazemi, and the Hana. This pad is magnitudes faster than them all. It is perfect for people who play fast-paced tracking FPS games like Overwatch and Apex Legends. Its speed allows for precise player tracking, making it an excellent choice for those types of games.
First Impressions
When I first received it in the mail, I was genuinely impressed by the packaging. The box features the Beast’s design on the front, with a magnetic opening latch that adds a premium touch. Upon opening the box, I was greeted with an amazing card and silver fox skates, which are fantastic on this pad. Removing the plastic from the pad revealed its full design, which embodies a warrior-like aesthetic, at least to me. The backside of the pad features a rubber-padded material that adheres well to the desk. It’s quite similar to the backing material of the Glassworks Kazemi, which is a nice touch. What stood out to me was the attention to detail in every aspect of the presentation. From the protective packaging to the additional skates which just shows how much thought and effort went into the packaging and customer enjoyment.
Surface and First Use
The surface of the Beast is difficult to compare directly to other pads. It has a slightly rougher texture than the Kazemi or Hana but is significantly faster than both. The high-quality feel of the material is immediately noticeable, and its clean design makes it suitable for any setup, in my opinion. I underestimated just how fast this pad would be—it’s on another level entirely. For tracking games, this pad is absolutely perfect. Additionaly the bigger size of the pad in comparison to the Kazemi or Hana allows for larger hand movements which is perfect for a pad of this speed. This is the speed pad.
Would I Recommend It? Final Input
This pad is ideal for tracking-based games, and I can confidently say that it can also work for tactical FPS games. While I primarily play tactical FPS games rather than tracking-based ones, I still found the pad’s performance impressive. It allows you to fully utilize your raw aim, which is something I absolutely love. However, I do find the surface to be a bit rough compared to the extremely smooth surfaces of the Kazemi and Hana, which I personally prefer. Currently, I use the Hana because its smooth surface and higher stopping power suit my playstyle, as I primarily play Tac FPS games like Valorant and CS2. That said, for tracking-based games like Apex Legends and Overwatch, I would definitely prefer the Beast due to its unmatched speed and use case for precise tracking and it doesn’t detract from the fact that the Beast is the fastest pad on the market. It’s a pad I know I will come to appreciate even more over time.
This pad isnt just a mousepad, its a statement piece; It is the top competitor to the glass speed pad industry and it delivers on everything needed from a pad of its type.
