Skeleton Mousepad Review

The unboxing experience for the Owepowe pads is actually quite nice, it comes flatpacked in a brown cardboard outer box followed by a black inner printed cardboard sleeve with velcro and then the pad itself is inside sleeved up with plastic. The experience is similar to that of Quaoar pads, I’m quite impressed.
My unit was the skeleton unit but I’m pretty sure all different designs that they sell are the same pad, my surface was hella smooth, it’s not quite like raiden, it feels smoother than raiden but not as fast as raiden mid, almost as if the pad had micro streaks horizontally to make it feel smoother. Speed is about similar or a bit faster than hien mid or even hayate otsu mid. The cloth feels fast and has a very little amount of control, not quite enough even.
The pad’s base is quite unique and it looks nice as you can see via the photo attatched, made of a polyurethane material, it’s got a nice pattern and feels great. Softness is basically an artisan soft equivalent or ever so slightly softer with a gel like consistency. Grippiness is good and sticks to my table without movement, it isn’t the stickiest pad I’ve tried but it doesn’t move easy.
Stitching is pretty clean and overall decently high quality, not quite artisan level or LGG level even, but it’s not a cheap shit pad by any means. Design wise, I’m not a huge fan of these random designs but that’s all personal preference of course. For the price of $37.99 USD, it isn’t too had of a deal however, I would consider taking a look into LGG pads or even FreeFall pads beforehand. 6/10
