Design & Quality

The AIM8K is a revolutionary 3D-printed mouse that sets new standards for high-performance peripherals. Its standout feature is the ceramic coating, which offers a luxurious, tactile feel while ensuring remarkable durability. This coating not only enhances its premium aesthetic but also ensures it withstands heavy use during intense gaming sessions.
Every detail of the AIM8K has been meticulously designed, offering exceptional stability. The AI-engineered shell resists breakage under stress, while the flawless assembly ensures no rattling or loose components. The result is a product that delivers unparalleled quality and performance, making it a perfect choice for gamers and professionals who demand the best.

Battery

The AIM8K features a 150mAh lithium polymer battery, providing up to 40 hours of use at a 1kHz polling rate. PMM is exploring the option of introducing a larger 300mAh battery in future models, catering to users who require extended battery life.
Cable & Receiver
The mouse comes with a standard Razer cable and dongle. While I initially encountered a missing dongle station and a broken cable after only two uses, PMM’s customer service was quick to resolve the issue. They not only sent the missing station but also upgraded the cable with a higher-quality replacement from Lethal Gaming Gear.
This level of responsive and attentive support has greatly enhanced my trust in PMM, showing their commitment to customer satisfaction and product quality.

Skates & Shape

The AIM8K is equipped with Tiger Ice dot skates, delivering a smooth and fast glide. After two weeks, I replaced them with Obsidian Pro skates, as they better suit my preferred surface, the Wallhack SP004.
The mouse’s unique shape (75.94 x 50.89 x 30.25 mm) is ideal for fingertip grip users. Transitioning from an aggressive claw grip (my previous style with the Beast X) to fingertip grip was seamless. The AIM8K feels incredibly natural and comfortable, significantly reducing fatigue during extended sessions.

Ceramic Coating

The ceramic coating not only enhances the mouse’s appearance but also provides superior grip. While I sometimes use additional grip aids like Pulsar Supergrips or DIY solutions (e.g., Wilson Pro Comfort) to counter sweaty hands during gaming, the coating itself is sufficient for most scenarios.

Software

The AIM8K uses Razer Synapse for DPI adjustments and customization. My recommendation: install the software once to configure your settings, save them directly to the mouse, and then uninstall it. This ensures a smooth, hassle-free user experience without the need for ongoing software management.

Conclusion

After six months of use, the AIM8K has become my go-to mouse for gaming. At just 20 grams, it feels weightless, offering incredible precision and control. Its ceramic coating, ergonomic design, and premium build quality make it an excellent investment for gamers seeking comfort and top-tier performance.
While priced at €254.10, the AIM8K delivers exceptional value through its unique features and impeccable design. It’s not just a mouse—it’s a statement piece for anyone who values aesthetics, functionality, and innovation in their peripherals.
A Special Thanks to PMM I’d like to extend my gratitude to the PMM team for their dedication and hard work. Your commitment to pushing the boundaries of gaming peripherals is evident in every detail of the AIM8K. I’m excited to see what future innovations you’ll bring to the industry!
