Introduction

Hey everyone, welcome back to a new article. Today we’re diving into the Lethal Gaming Gear Saturn Pro, a premium control pad designed for gamers who need precision and consistency.

Base & surface

Let’s dive straight into build quality and surface. The Saturn Pro is available in multiple sizes: 500x500x3.5mm, 420x490x3.5mm, and 1000x500x3.5mm. You can also choose between soft, extra soft or mid hardness in black and red colorways. There is also a blue version made in collaboration with MaxGaming which looks very cool!

A key feature that must be highlighted the Slimflex base. (Note: Slimflex the new name used for Poron: they released a statement a few months back saying it should have now been referred to as Slimflex). It lays perfectly flat on your desk and gives the pad a premium feel right out of the box.

Compared to Artisan’s “soft” base, this one feels a little firmer, offering better stability without the mouse sinking in during gameplay. It also comes with consistent stitching that feels smooth, with no faults on my unit—it won’t interfere with your movements. We can see a cool looking logo on the bottom right but, even if touched while gaming, it won’t be an issue due to it being barely above the surface.

The surface provides excellent glide consistency along both the X and Y axes, thanks to its weave. It avoids the drag that can slow you down during fast-paced moments. One thing to note is that it does attract some dust and hair, though not as much as the Artisan Zero, and it’s been quite easy to clean so far.

Glide & control

The real magic of the Saturn Pro lies in its glide and control. The surface gives a smooth feel, allowing your mouse to move effortlessly while maintaining enough friction for reactive adjustments and stops.

If you’re playing TacFPS games or anything that demands precise aiming, and if you rely a lot on pushing into the mousepad to get more control, the extra-soft base option might be your go-to. It provides just a bit of extra control when you press down, without ever feeling muddy or slow.

Conclusion

In short, the Saturn Pro is a standout control pad that delivers on all fronts. It offers a great glide and perfect control for all of you TacFPS enjoyers. Whether you’re a precise clicker or tracking enemies in fast-paced shooters, this pad gives you the stability and precision you need.

If you’re looking for top-tier performance from a control pad, the Saturn Pro (just like the all the other Lethal Gaming Gear mousepads) definitely deserves your attention.
