Packaging:
This is my first time using UNWS gear skates, and I gotta say the packaging is quite slick. It’s a nice black color with an embossed logo and shiny black lettering around the whole pack. Inside the pack, you’ll find things to be quite standard: an alcohol swab, 40-dot skates, and some advertisements. On the back of the package, you’ll find what skates are in the pack.
Quality:
Initially, after opening these I instantly saw what everyone was talking about. The quality is excellent, and the manufacturing consistency is great. Looking across the whole sheet of dots they are all even and I can’t see any differences. The shape of the dot is very nice too, I’m a big fan of the x-rapid dots but I’m leaning towards the shape of these. Both skates share the same thickness at 0.8mm but the unusual skates being slightly bigger in diameter at 7mm feel smoother. Do note that each pack of UNWS black fox dot skates also includes 6.5 diameter dots as well.
Each pack has 20 of each. With the 6.5 mm dot you get a slightly more comparable experience to the x-raypad dots.
Gaming:
The black fox skates offer a nice glide with much-stopping power. With these skates being a u-pe material they are slower than your average ptfe dot skate. In my 12 hours of testing them, they feel really good in the game nice and smooth. I tested them in R6S, Delta Force, and Cod, and with the right pad in all those games, they feel really good. They offer enough glide to easily play fast or slow games and with the stopping power, it makes it easy to aim. I was mostly playing R6S and using the La Onda Pelz and together they are an amazing combo. The skates are slow enough to just hold angles in the game and fast enough to run into the site with ash. While playing cod with the Neptune Pro is also a good experience. You can play cod as it is supposed to be played as an arcade shooter, but they add enough stopping power to make it easy to find your target.
Conclusion:
These are just good quality dot skates with nice stopping power and I suggest everyone check them out along with the other offerings from UNWS gear. Shortly I plan to pick up the silver fox and the magic ice to test them. Thank you guys for all the continued support. Hopefully, you guys like this.
